Who is your favourite Olympian?

We're talking Greek gods and goddesses here, not athletes. Above if I have done this right is a poll. You have to choose just one. Lucy Coats will be here later in the month to talk about the poll results, her own favourites and why the Greek gods are back with a vengeance.

So get voting!

Done--it was a struggle to choose, though. I should have liked to pick 2. I'm really looking forward to being a Maven guest!

That's fun - just voted!

Also made up my mind never to listen to the doom-sayers again. I was told a few years ago that "children aren't interested in stories based on Greek myths"... Ha! Seems to me that as soon as someone says "children's aren't interested in stories about X" that's exactly the time we ought to all be writing about X, because chances are it'll be the Next Big Thing.

Voted! Not too difficult, as some of them are SO dislikeable. I'm guessing there won't be too many votes for Zeus!

Yes but sadly also not for Hera or Hephaestus! Dislikeable some of them, but necessary. How many of the stories would we have lost if Zeus have been a model, monogamous husband?

Oh, I'm torn now. I see my girl Athene is neck and neck with Artemis, but I see your point about Zeus, Mary. If he hadn't got up to all that badness, where would we be?

Artemis is the goddess for me.

Where do I vote? I think I may be too tech-impaired. I cannot seem to find the poll anywhere.

Anyhow, my favorite by far is Hermes!
